“As You Like It,” Shakespeare by Socorro Community Theater

In this Shakespeare pastoral comedy performed by Socorro Community Theater, Rosalind and her cousin escape into the forest and find Orlando, Rosalind’s love. Disguised as a boy shepherd, Rosalind has Orlando woo her under the guise of “curing” him of his love for Rosalind. Rosalind reveals she is a girl and marries Orlando during a group wedding at the end of the play.
On Friday evening, there will be an optional, ticketed, “Ye Olde Partye” Medieval Cosplay Dinner before the performance.
As You Like It will be performed in an intimate blackbox format with the play and audience on the Macey Center stage.
