Date(s):

Time:
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Sevilleta Nation Wildlife Refuge

Spanish colonizers brought livestock with them; thus began the first grazing on land that is now Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge.

Livestock have left marks on this beautiful landscape – scattered wells, line shacks, fence posts, a rock cairn, etc. Join us for a talk and slide program placing local livestock raising in the context of the western United States cattle industry up through the Campbell Family ranch that became Sevilleta.

Reservations are required, call 505-864-4021.
